About Donations
As a 501(c)(3) organization with non-profit status, The
British Players can now accept donations. While we manage to cover most of
our expenses with income from our shows, we also need to meet the rising
costs of theatre rental, equipment upgrades, set-making, and the purchasing
of lighting and sound equipment, while continuing to fund the Ruby Griffith
Awards Competition.
As a non-profit organization, we will continue to actively
promote education about British theatre. In our 43 years of existence, we
have not only supported other community theatre groups with their
fund-raising efforts, but have distributed over $400,000 in support of
British and American charities.
Your assistance in helping us meet these goals will be very
much appreciated. Donors are thanked by name in our programmes according to
the following giving categories:
- Royalty: $1,500
and above
- Dukes/Duchesses: $1,000
- $1,499
- Barons/Baronesses: $500
- $999
- Lords/Ladies: $250
- $499
- Knights/Dames $100
- $249
- Landed Gentry: $50
- $99
- Pages: $25
- $49
